How I got interested in this field
Originally I went into environmental sciences as an undergraduate because I wanted to help the world be a better place and I wanted to know how the world works. I was attracted to soil science because it combined all of the subdisciplines I studied as an undergraduate; physics, chemistry, climatology, geology, and geomorphology.
